Our Story

Chesapeake and Colorado Farms is a joint venture between Amy Isaacson and Francis Zell.  Amy grew up hiking and skiing in the Mountains of Colorado.  Francis grew up fishing and crabbing on the Chesapeake Bay.  Both career educators, theirs paths crossed while  working a summer camp job.  Much of their early relationship was built on their love of the outdoors.  Together, they had a dream of a farmette which grew and sold sustainable food, and also educated the community about food production along the way.  C&C Farms may be in it's earliest stages but we have big plans for future years.
